Jaw Gems are a psychedelic soul 4-piece with a love for keyboards and and a distaste for almost everything else.Despite the group's relative newness to the global beat scene, for four years the Portland, Maine based quartet has cultivated its sound weekly at a local bar, dropping mutations of psyched-out, left-field hip hop replete with jazz vocab and holistic rock sensibilities, the touchstones somewhere in the range of J Dilla, Madlib, and the rest of the Stones Throw catalogue.
