The Band Called Fuse

Representing Belgium, Puerto Rico, Haiti, Panama, New Jersey and New YorkCity, The Band Called FUSE is a diverse group of hip hop, rock and soul performers changing the face of New York's underground music scene. Following the path of The Roots, Rage Against the Machine and The Fugees and inspired by the spirit of Jimi Hendrix, the funk of Parliament and the bluesy soul of Nina Simone, The Band called Fuse draw from a broad range of influences to shape an electric new sound dubbed Soul Rock.

The band's weekly Line Up showcase in New York City has attracted the attention of over 150 up-and-coming MCs, singers, musicians and beatmakers including Ali Shaheed Muhammad (A Tribe Called Quest), Pharoahe Monch, and John Forte (The Fugees). Having opened for such luminaries as Talib Kweli, MURS and Vonnegutt and with several self-produced singles on the CMJ radio college charts, The Band Called Fuse is poised for a new phase of far-reaching exposure with their latest EP, Impossible Dream
